We have had a busy week of problem solving and persevering this week. We have had to use our logical thinking skills and trial and improvement as well as using all of the maths skills that have been learned this year.
All pupils did an amazing job of building and programming a dog to give information about Llandudno using our new Lego Spike Kits.
Next week is a busy one. We are at Ysgol Rhiwabon on Thursday morning where we will be doing PE and Drama. Please can pupils wear their PE kits for the day on Thursday instead of Wednesday. There will be no other PE session next week due to our trip on Friday.
On Friday we will be visiting Llandudno, we will be leaving promptly after registration so please make sure that all pupils are in school on time. Pupils will need to wear their school uniform with comfortable footwear and bring a packed lunch, a raincoat and a sunhat in a bag that they are able to carry comfortably for the day.
We will be continuing with our theme of problem solving in maths next week, using all that we know about the four number operations to solve problems. We will also be completing our investigation about plants.
Reading books are coming home for the last time this week to allow plenty of time to finish and return books by the end of the school year.
