Another busy but wonderful week in year 6. Our literacy focus was writing diary entries inspired by our new book ‘Letters from the lighthouse’. We used tea bags to stain the letters to give them an authentic look. We also started planning our materials and equipment for our evacuee cuddly toys. The designs look amazing and I can’t wait to see them in real life!
This morning, year 6 used micro:bits to make a name tag for an evacuee. Year 6 have certainly gotten used to using these as they were very independent. Da iawn!
Next week: Homework and reading books are due on Thursday. PE kits will be needed for Thursday and Friday. Diolch!
